You will be picked up from Islamabad Airport and transferred to Serena Hotel. Enjoy a serene drive around the thick forests of the city and then stop at Monal to witness the sun hide behind the mountains from Monal restaurant. Sitting on Margalla Hills at 1173 meters above sea level, this restaurant reflects the diverse history and heritage of Pakistan perfectly. At Monal Restaurant, you can enjoy the indigenous flavors from Arabia, Persia as well as Central Asia. We recommend their piping hot cheese naansand Seekh Kebabs. Keep the snacking light and bite sized because you want to save your appetite for the dinner we have planned for you. Don t forget to ask your driver to give you a quick tour of other tourist attractions before you head to the hotel. Our guests may want to explore the Pakistan Monument a symbol of the unity of Pakistan and the views at Daman e Koh a hilltop garden and viewing point. You will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to a Helipad. We have arranged for a thrilling flight to Passu that offers scenic views of the mountains on the way. Check in at Serena Inn Hunza and freshen up in your suite rooms. The artistically decorated rooms are equipped with personal TV, temperature settings (heater and geyser), and large beds for your comfort. Next we test your nerves by taking you to the Hussaini Suspension Bridge located approximately 12 minutes away (by car) from Passu. The rope bridge crossing Borith Lake has become a tourist attraction because of the adrenaline junkies who love proving their strength by walking on wooden planks in strong winds. The bridge is located approximately 1 hour 30 minutes away (by car) from Serena Inn, Hunza, and has 399 wooden plank steps with a lake running underneath. We will then head to Hunza River a majestic water body embraced by snow capped peaks and lush greenery. Take a peaceful boat ride here, indulge in fishing, and enjoy snacks while the cool breeze from the valley rejuvenates your senses. Dinner will be served at a Diran Terrace BBQ an onsite restaurant at Serena Inn Hunza that offers a spectacular view of the Ultar Peak, Lady Finger, Mount Diran Peak, and Rakaposhi.
After breakfast, you will be picked up in a 4x4 Jeep that runs like a high powered beast on the uneven grounds leading to Misgar. Misgar is one of the most geographically important regions of GB with Mintaka Pass that connects Pakistan with China, the historic Kilik pass that leads to Afghanistan, and the Kalam Darchi Fort (Fort of the Naked Saint), built by the British to spy on Russian and Chinese developments. The travel time from Gulmit to Misgar is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. On arrival, you will check in in a local home and unwind after your trip across the challenging terrain. In the evening, our professional hunters will help you strategize and place yourself at a vintage position to wait for your Ibex hunt. Dinner will be served by a hospitable local family in the comfort of their cozy home. Take this intimate experience to familiarize yourself with the traditions and customs of the valley. Gulmit people are known for their hospitality and exotic culinary concepts. Cook your meal, ask them about their culture and the semi rural life of the valley take this time to become one with the serenity of this region.
Breakfast will be served early morning in the raw and scenic environment of the valley. If you couldn t bring home a trophy with you don t worry you have another shot at winning big. We will leave for a second try at Ibex hunting. The ibexes are a shy creature but they are worth the wait and the thrilling chase that ensues when you spot one this exquisite animal. You will also explore the area and meet with local hunters. Take this time to take tips from their experiences and stories and up the level of your hunt if you have missed the mark in the last two tries. If you were unable to bag a trophy hunt in the last two excursions, this is your chance. We leave for our third Ibex Hunt where you apply the strategies shared by the professional hunters and get your hands on an Ibex trophy. Dinner will be served by a local family after which you will leave for your premium campsite. Call it a day and retire to your royal suite set in the middle of the wilderness of this area. Listen to the sounds of the animals in the region and indulge in stargazing before you sleep.
Breakfast will be served at the local home after which you will bid farewell to the family and Misgar. We will drive down to Passu in a robust 4x4, overcoming every bump on the rocky terrain and enjoying the adrenaline pumping ride. On arrival, you will check in at Serena Inn, Hunza. We have picked fully equipped chalets for your stay (referred to as tents by the hotel) that come with a private veranda overlooking the Ganish village, Nagar valley, Rakaposhi & Diran Mountains. Experience the unfiltered beauty and raw power of these sky high peaks and observe how the locals have tailored their lives around the scenic terrain of the valley. Freshen up and rest at leisure before leaving for an afternoon excursion to Gulmit Village and Attabad Lake. The lake has become one of the biggest tourist attractions because of the recreational activities it offers such as fishing, boating, and jet skiing. We have arranged for a peaceful boat ride here for you so that you can soak in the healing energy of calming crystal blue water. Dinner will be served at Osho Marak Restaurant an onsite, cozy eatery in Serena Inn that offers local Hunzai cuisine such as Tumoro Soup and Chopshoro (local spin on pizza).
Breakfast will be served at the hotel followed by a helicopter ride back to Islamabad. You will check in at Serena Hotel, Islamabad, and explore the onsite amenities. The gardens and lush greenery around the lake are ideal for picnics while the lake itself is known to be a famous spot for fishing, sailing, diving, and boating. The highest point in the garden gives a panoramic view of Margalla and Murree Hills. Guests would also like to visit the Faisal Mosque the largest mosque in Pakistan boasting minarets typical of Islamic architecture. We have also arranged for a quick tour around Saidpur Village which is a scenic village sitting on the slope of Margalla Hills. End the day with a visit to Jinnah Super Market Islamabad s most famous retail center to end the trip with some shopping. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
