Ziarat district is a song of history and nature. Quaid e Azam Residency also known as Ziarat Residency, is one of the key attractions of this area. The famous landmark was in 1892 during the British Raj and seems like an upscale version of the quintessential cosy British cottages. Spread over the mountainous terrain of Ziarat and Mount Zarghoon are the Juniper Forests. The forest is home to trees that are 5000 to 7000 years old and are a must see for nature enthusiasts. You 'd also find many endangered species like urial, suleiman markhor, wolf and black bears as well flocks of local and migratory birds.
Time to align your chakras! Located 6km from Ziarat, you 'd find the Prospect Point which offers a gripping, panoramic view of the lush Koshki Valley. Tourists can also see the peaks of the hills known as Khilafat from a cliff close to Prospect Point. The Khilafat Hills have the highest peak in Ziarat district with an altitude of 11,400 feet (3,500 m). Ziarat District is also known for its orchards that are the main source of livelihood for the people of this region.
Make sure you bite into the juicy goodness of apples and cherries from the valley.
